Community Event - Ottawa Valley - Speakers Evening with Terry Currie
Join Terry Currie in the main building of the Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village on Wednesday October 25th at 7:00pm as he discusses the "Medical History of the Ottawa Valley". Admission to this speakers evening is $10.00 per person. $8.00 for members of the Ottawa Valley Historical Society. The talk will take place inside Founders Hall in the main building of the Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village.
Community Event - Niagara - St John's Anglican Church Thorold Festive Bazaar
St John's Anglican Church at 12 Carleton St S. Thorold will host our bazaar from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday November 4th. A traditional soup & sandwich lunch plus our famous meat pies, bake table, candy, deli and vendor tables. Vendors needed, please call Judy Riley 905 687 2981.

Community Event - Ottawa Valley - Night at the Museum Children's Event
Back by popular demand the Champlain Trail Museum's annual Night at the Museum event for children aged 5-12 is being held on Saturday October 21st starting at 6pm and ending around 10pm. We will be watching the movie "Night at the Museum: The Secret of the Tomb" and will be having pizza and popcorn and doing some Halloween-themed activities. The cost for the evening is $20.00 per child. Pre-registration is required. Please contact the Museum at 613-735-0517 or by email curator@champlaintrailmuseum.com to register your child. Kids can come dressed up for Hallowe'en or as a character from the Night at the Museum movies.
