Public Notices/Announcements - Kingston - KBS Presents: Jeff Rogers Trio
Singer/songwriter Jeff Rogers’ unmistakably soulful voice often evokes weighty comparisons to the past – whether that’s Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles or even Otis Redding…. however, his tone, range, phrasing, and sincerity, all make him unmistakably contemporary – and totally original.
Tickets are $20 ($16 for members) and are available at the Club. Call (613) 542-8152 to purchase by credit card or bruce@kingstonbluessociety.ca to pay by e-transfer Call (613) 384-8168 for further details
Public Notices/Announcements - Kingston - The Mill•Rights. Sept 7, 8pm, RCHA
"Hatched from the under-boot grime of various “blues and outlaw country” tribute groups, The Mill Rights pride themselves on expansive stylings. With a Colt six-shooter to their collective temple, they’d opt to call themselves “roots rock with a side of twang,” but the true glory of this Ontario-based unit – as exemplified on their self-titled debut The Mill Rights – is the ease at which they glide through genres. Rock, blues, reggae, country and folk are all represented. Tickets are $10 ($8 for members) and are available at the Club. Call (613) 542-8152 to purchase by credit card
