The Port Colborne Operatic Society is hosting a pre-registration night on Wednesday, June 26 2024 and invites anyone and everyone to come out, see what we're all about, meet our creative team and board of directors, and hear more about how YOU can participate, either onstage or behind the scenes!

Community Event - Muskoka - Movie On The Docks - "Jaws"
Experience the magic of cinema at Movie on the Docks—an unforgettable outdoor movie night unlike any other! Situated on the scenic waterfront, a classic film unfolds on a double-sided screen, offering audiences the unique choice of watching from the water or on shore. Grab your own chair, sleeping bag, or floating device, and settle in for a free film under the twinkling stars.
Film will start at sunset. HfA will be selling popcorn, chocolate bars and cold drinks on site.

Community Event - Muskoka - Canada Day Cruise: The Empty Glasses
A cottage country tradition! Kick your summer off right with an evening of classic songs cruising the 30,000 Islands. End the evening watching the fireworks from the boat.

Christmas in July Crafts and Hot Drinks – July 24th, 2024 – Community Care office or on Zoom
Prince Edward Community Care invites seniors to join staff for an afternoon of Christmas crafts and hot drinks on Wednesday, July 24th, at 1pm. This is a hybrid event and will be offered both in person at 74A King Street, Picton, and on zoom. Community Care has a variety of free Christmas crafts available including ornaments and wreaths. Prince Edward Community Care invites seniors to join amateur vexillologist Rob Leek for an interactive afternoon exploring heraldry, flag design, and discussing favourite flags. This event will be held on Wednesday, July 17th, at 1pm at 2 Ross Street, Picton. Brush up on your knowledge of flags just in time for the 2024 Olympic Games! Online Zoom fitness and arts classes along with socials are held Monday to Friday. In July, the Zoom webinar topics include “Aging Actively: Dancing Makes You Smarter” with Carol Anderson, lifelong dance artist and movement educator; “Eldercare Essentials: Can I be a caregiver and thrive?” with Karen Fuller; and “Virtual Bingo” with Community Care staff.
