If you plan on using fireworks, be safe and check municipal bylaws.
Make sure that the area is free of flammable materials, you have fire suppression equipment on hand, and hot residue is put out before leaving.
Community Event - Ottawa Valley - The Lunch Bunch by Seniors at Home
A full course luncheon event at the Arnprior Legion Hall on Wednesday, July 3rd from 12 till 2pm. Choice of sandwiches sliced roast been on whole wheat or egg salad. Katie and Just Country will entertain. Tickets $12 each from our agency office until noon on Friday June 28th. All seniors and adults with disabilities welcome.
Community Event - Ottawa Valley - Annual Seniors BBQ in the Park by Seniors at Home
Seniors at Home will be hosting their 23rd annual Seniors BBQ at Robert Simpson Park on Thursday, July 18th from 12-2pm. (Rain date if needed July 25). Spencer Scharf will be entertaining. Tickets are available for $10 from the agency office until July 16th. All seniors or adults with disabilities welcome.

Get outdoors this Father’s Day weekend with a free, fun activity the whole family will enjoy.
From June 15 to 16, all Canadian residents can fish for free in Ontario.
Remember:

• obey size limits and sanctuaries
• carry government issued identification

Community Event - Windsor/Leamington - Alexis' Crafty Spaghetti Night
The event will be at Ten Friends Diner. It's on October 18th, 2024, it will start at 4 pm and will end at 7 pm. You can buy the tickets at Ten Friends Diner 1412 Wyandotte St. East The tickets will cost $25. All proceeds go to a new wheelchair for Alexis so she can shine a little bit more.
