February is upon us, and it's time to get into a concert mood! The Oakville Chamber Orchestra will be back at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts for an evening of wonderful music.

You'll instantly recognize George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with its soaring opening glissando and evocative jazz melody. Piano soloist Aidan Leung, 2nd-place winner in the Junior category of our Youth Concerto Competition 2023, will amaze you with his unique interpretation of this American jazz icon.

Grammy Award winner and multiple Juno nominee Kevin McMillan, baritone, joins us to present excerpts from Des Knaben Wunderhorn (The Boy's Magic Horn) and other songs by Gustav Mahler. It's an honour to have him sing with us!
Music by Felix Mendelssohn and Sergei Prokofiev will also be performed
