Community Event - Peterborough/Lindsay - Irish Dinner Fundraiser - OnLine
Irish Stew Dinner - Online Fundraiser
Enjoy a take home meal of Irish beef stew, a soda bun or a tea biscuit, and shamrock cookies or Irish Mist brownies, for $10. All meals will be frozen. Gluten free options will be available for some items.
Pickup will be outside St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, c/o The Mount Community Centre, 1545 Monaghan Road, Peterborough, Ontario, K9J 5N3, from 10:30 am until 2pm on Saturday, March 13. A few meals can be delivered, if needed.
To order use the online system on St. Paul's website www.stpaulspeterborough.ca or call the church at 705-745-1411 and leave a message. Orders will be taken until Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

A sugar shack-themed show featured in French for all to enjoy. Maple butter and maple candy will be up for sale at the French community center.

Community Event - Niagara - Garden Fest and Fertilizer Sale by K of C charity
Garden Fest and Fertilizer Sale hosted by the Knights of Columbus. Holy Rosary parking lot in Thorold, Fri. April 9, 4 pm - 9 pm, Sat. April 10, 9 am to 9 pm, Sun., April 11, 9 am to 4 pm. Great deals on fertilizer, grass seed, mulch, and compost. Bottle drive. 50/50 draw. All proceeds to local charities. Safety protocols will be in place with curbside contactless service.

Are you or someone you know living with dementia?
Here are some tips to help keep your loved one living with Alzheimer’s safe:
- Have an ID card on them at all times
- Have a Safely Home Medical Alert Bracelet
- Location Technology
- Register them in Vulnerable Persons Registry
Join us March 30th at 7PM for an on-line informative, interactive session where we will share safety solutions and resources available for those living with or caring for someone living with dementia. Whether you are concerned about yourself, or are a care partner for someone with dementia, this session will help you develop a plan of action to help reduce those risks and live safely.
