Knobb Hill Drive in Amherstburg will be closed to all through traffic between Welsh Avenue and Whelan Avenue commencing July 8 to facilitate watermain installation, culvert replacement and road reconstruction. This closure is expected to last until September 2019. No through traffic will be allowed, Knobb Hill residents will be allowed access to their residences via Whelan but delays should be expected. The Town reminds residents that during construction traffic disruptions may occur and some delays may be experienced. Please slow down, obey all traffic signage and watch for Flag Persons in all construction zones.

Community Event - Windsor/Leamington - Branch 12 Golf Fun Day - July 28 @ Seven Lakes
Calling all golfers looking for a fun day of golf come. Join us for Branch 12 Golf Fun Day at Seven Lakes on July 28. Tee time is 11am.
Cost is $40 for 9 holes and golf cart. Must sign up before July 20. Sign up at Branch 12, 2090 Brant Street and also includes dinner. If you want to bring a guest for dinner, the cost is $15.
Must pay the day of registration.
Community Event - Kingston - Swim for Kids
Join us on Saturday, July 27, 2019 as Easter Seals Ontario and the YMCA of Eastern Ontario will host 1.5km and 3km open water swims at the 3rd Annual Swim for Kids in beautiful Lake Ontario at Lake Ontario Park, 920 King St. West from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Proceeds of the event will support kids with physical disabilities through Easter Seals Ontario and the YMCA of Eastern Ontario’s Y Penguins Aquatic Swim Club. The swim is open to swimmers aged 12+ of all abilities! This year, swimmers can register their families to complete the 1.5km swim together and fundraise together to be eligible for the Top Family Fundraising prize! There is over $10,000 in prizes available to be won by those who participates in the event, so be sure to register today at www.SwimforKids.org!
