If you are interested in alternative remedies, Hawthorn Herbals’ Tamara Segal will be at the Belleville Public Library on Saturday, January 27 at 2:00 to give a talk entitled, “Herbs, Health, and the Elements.” She will discuss the various ways in which the four elements (Fire, Earth, Air & Water) manifest within both the body in various states of health, and within the herbs and foods available to us for balance and restoration. The presentation will offer a special focus on the local, wild and easily accessible herbs and foods in our region. Ms. Segal is a Registered Herbalist with the Ontario Herbalists Association. No registration is required.

A Robbie Burns Dinner, Friday Jan. 26,2018, 6 pm. St. John's Community Hall, 216 Church St., Bath, Ont.

Montreal Canadiens Alumni Hockey tour is coming to Sarnia to play a charity game against a local team we are putting together which will take place at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena on Friday, March 2nd at 7:00 pm with all proceeds to The Deker Bauer Foundation For Suicide Prevention.
Tickets can be purchased on line through the Progressive Auto Sales Arena -through the “need sting tickets” link or at the box office. Tickets are $20.00 for adults, , $15.00 for ages 4-12, $60.00 VIP and $100.00 for VIP Plus.
We have 4 confirmed players from the Alumni. They are Ric Nattress, Patrice Brisboise, Stephane Richer, and Richard Sevigny.
The money raised from this event will go towards operating costs.
The Belleville Public Library will welcome Galen Nuttall, a financial security advisor who will give a talk about estate planning including estate taxes, probate, and executor issues. He will discuss the basics of estate planning, and the pitfalls that can occur without proper planning. Please come with your estate planning questions to ask Galen! This free program is on Thurs. Jan. 18 from 11-12:30 in the third-floor meeting room, no registration is required.
