Two Men in Custody
Two men have been apprehended by police and both face a second degree murder charge following last Wednesday night's homicide at a Beattie Street residence. Tune in to Cogeco News Monday to Friday LIVE at 5.
Homicide Update
Police are confirming that the shooting took place in the Pinewood area of North Bay at a residence on Beattie Street. There will be an increased police presence in that area as the investigation continues.
At this time interviews have been conducted and police continue to canvass the area for more information. The North Bay Forensic Identification Unit is back on scene now that we are in daylight hours.
Police are confirming that Abraham Kamerman, age 45, of North Bay is the victim in this incident.
Police are looking to identify a blue four door compact Chevrolet car seen leaving the area along with two males described as.
1) A man approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height with a slender build last seen wearing a light coloured sweater with a dark mask or toque.
2) A man medium in height with a slender build last seen wearing dark clothing.
North Bay Police are asking anyone who may have information related to this occurrence including home security footage in the area to contact them at 705-497-5555 and select option 9 to speak to an Officer.
