DNA Helps Solve 28-Year-Old Sarnia Sexual Assault Case
A major update in a case that has haunted Southwestern Ontario for 28 years. Police have arrested a man living in British Columbia and charged him with 15 offences, including aggravated sexual assault, connected to a series of 1997 attacks. The investigation, which linked assaults in Sarnia (Exmouth/Indian Road and Campbell St.) Thamesville, and Chatham, leveraged new forensic techniques for a breakthrough.
