The Town of Niagara On The Lake welcomed Arif Virani, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Canadian Heritage, as well as Niagara Centre MP Vance Badawey, to the "Voices Of Freedom" Park for a fundraising announcement.

Local author Alana Somerville spoke with Lori Taraba recently about her memoir - Holding on to Normal. The book chronicles Alana's diagnosis, treatment and recovery from stage 2 breast cancer.
