The Remembrance Day Services from the Cenotaph in St. Catharines.  The Royal Canadian Legion hosts the ceremony each year. You can see the Ceremony on YourTV Niagara Sunday at noon and Monday at 11:00 AM.

St. Catharines Mayor Mat Siscoe is now accepting submissions for the Mayor’s Holiday Card Contest. Mayor Siscoe is inviting elementary school aged children (ages 3-13) to take part in a competition to design his annual holiday card by submitting a holiday drawing that follows the theme “Winter in St. Catharines.”

Visit stcatharines.ca/mayorholidaycard for all the contest details and good luck to all the entrants. Deadline to enter is 2PM on Nov. 17th.

The RCL branch 612 held a Remembrance Day service in advance of November 11th at Jordan Lions Park in the Town of Lincoln.

A special service to remember and honour the contributions and sacrifices made by Six Nations and Native Allies, in supporting their British and Canadian compatriots and securing victory at pivotal events at Queenston Heights and throughout the War of 1812.
