Yesterday the United Church of Canada celebrated it's 100th anniversary. Over the weekend there was a special ceremonial reenactment of the service that took place a century ago. Nikki Wesley spoke with Reverend Ted after the special service.

With Milton Ward 1 town councillor Kristina Tesser Derksen now the MP for the new riding of Milton East - Halton Hills South, there is a vacant spot on Milton council, and the town has opted for a by-election which has the potential of costing the town up to 200-thousand dollars. Jason Agnew started his monthly chat with Milton Mayor Gord Krantz asking why council opted for this option as opposed to appointing a councillor.

But beneath the fun was a powerful message: every person deserves to be included, supported and seen. The walk is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the HDSA.
