Join the Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce in celebrating the 71st Annual Gravenhurst Santa Claus Parade, a cherished tradition since 1953! A special thank you to everyone who voted for this year’s theme, we can’t wait to see your creativity in action as we honour our favourite Classic Holiday Movies! 

After the parade, don’t miss the opportunity to visit Santa at the renowned Gravenhurst Opera House. Share your holiday wishes with the jolly man himself and capture cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Set your alarm clocks because this enchanting parade extravaganza kicks off promptly at 11 AM, embarking on its route through the heart of Gravenhurst. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit while witnessing the colorful floats, dazzling performances, and the wide-eyed wonder of children and adults alike.

Come to Family Craft Day to make your very own birdfeeder. Work together to assemble a wooden birdfeeder, then customize and paint your creation to welcome feathered friends to your backyard. This event is for families with children ages 6+

One birdfeeder per family. A library is required to register.

This loving tribute to Gene Wilder celebrates his life and legacy as the comic genius behind an extraordinary string of film roles, from his first collaboration with Mel Brooks in The Producers and the enigmatic title role in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, to his inspired on-screen partnership with Richard Pryor in movies like Silver Streak and more. The film features a bevy of touching and hilarious clips and outtakes, never-before-seen home movies, and narration from Wilder’s audiobook memoir, including interviews with brilliant friends and collaborators like Mel Brooks and Carol Kane. Remembering Gene Wilder shines a light on an essential performer, writer, director and all-around mensch.

Head to Kent Park in Huntsville just before the Santa Claus Parade for the Annual Community Tree Lighting. There will be carolers, hot chocolate, baked beans and lots of festive fun. You can also bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation. 

Kick off the Holiday season with our Polar Express themed library wide event! There will be crafts and activities for people of all ages, a hot chocolate station, festive music, and a visual spectacle of illuminating 12 different trees throughout the library. 

The Rotary Club of North Muskoka, in partnership with Drive Muskoka and the Huntsville-Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce, present the 2024 Huntsville Santa Claus Parade in downtown Huntsville on Friday, November 29th, at 7:00 PM. This year's theme is: "The Magic of Christmas"

Santa Claus is coming to town! Celebrate the season and start the countdown to Christmas with the Santa Claus parade, brought to you by the Rotary Club of Bracebridge/Muskoka Lakes. The parade will start at 6 p.m. and make its way along Manitoba Street.

Head to All Saints Anglican Church in Huntsville for the Merry & Bright Christmas Sing-A-Long with many local artists taking part in this fun holiday-themed event. There will be cookies to brighten up your afternoon as well.

Gravenhurst Opera House and Just 4 Kicks Academy of Dance are proud to present THE TALES OF THE NUTCRACKER. This special adaptation of the traditional Nutcracker Ballet is sure to delight. This perennial favourite retells the story of young Clara who one Christmas Eve receives a Nutcracker as a gift from a peculiar and magical visitor. At the stroke of midnight, the air is filled with enchantment as a spell is cast where toys come to life, an army of rats do battle with toy soldiers, the Nutcracker turns into a Prince and Clara finds herself whisked away towards the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy. This colourful community production features an eclectic mix of ballet, tap, hip hop, and acrobatic dance. This is a holiday treat for young and old, don’t miss it! All patrons require a ticket including babes with arms.
