Niagara IceDogs set to start pre-season
Training camp came to an end last week and before the pre-season starts we spoke with Head Coach Billy Burke about his thoughts on camp, his young forward group, managing Tucker Tynin's workload, the IceDogs OA's and what he thought of his leadership group.
Currents: Niagara's Power Transformed
Starting today, evening guests to Niagara Parks' newest landmark attraction, the Niagara Parks Power Station, can experience the power station in an entirely new way with "Currents: Niagara's Power Transformed", an immersive sound and light show. "Currents" is a riveting adventure that triggers your senses as you become part of the transformation of water to energy and feel the power station awaken through playful interactive media. Bigger Together Golf Classic 2021
Now in it’s 28th year, the Bigger Together Golf Classic was held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club, and is the signature summer event for Big brothers Big sisters of North & West in its ability to continue to match youth (Littles) with mentors (Bigs).

The Niagara On The Lake 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament
The Niagara On The Lake Rotary Club recently held their 1st annual Charity Golf Tournament at Beechwood Golf Club. Proceeds raised benefitted Niagara Nursery School and Nia Technologies' Freedom To Stand, who create 3D prosthetics for children in Sri Lanka. The Source stopped by to check out some of the action and learn more about the Club.

King of the Jungle
The first-ever Niagara Strongman show took place at Safari Niagara recently. About 20 athletes from across Ontario competed in six different events to see who would be crowned "King of the Jungle!" Mike Balsom reports.
Angelina Macri Prokich Park
The Town of Lincoln held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open Angelina Macri Prokich Park located at 5045 Connor Drive in Beamsville. Family members, Town staff and representatives from Losani Homes were in attendance to help celebrate the event. Mike Balsom files this report.
Riders on the Storm
A group of local musicians presents a Sold-Out show called "Riders on the Storm - A Live Celebration of: The Doors" on August 25th at Pillitteri Estates Winery in NOTL. Plans are in the works for another show in September. Mike Balsom brings you this report.
