The 13th annual Heater's Heroes Run for Children took place at Oakes Park in Niagara Falls recently. Lori Taraba caught up with organizer Mike Strange and some of the Heroes.

Town representatives, Run Organizer Joan King and the Eke and Pillitteri families attended the flag raising at Town Hall celebrating this year's Terry Fox Run. The Run will be dedicated in honour of Debbie Eke, wife of former Mayor David Eke and past Hospice Niagara Board Member and volunteer. Debbie passed away from cancer in 2023.

The 2nd annual Niagara Irish Festival wrapped up this weekend at Firemen's Park in Niagara Falls. Guests were invited to celebrate Irish Music and culture in beautiful Niagara Falls. Featured were local musicians from the Niagara Region, headlined by international Irish recording artist and performer Paddyman.
