Local charity, the Goodwill Amity Group, has taken a major step towards changing lives and strengthening communities through the power of work. They've opened a new donation centre in Oakville, the latest development in their mission that began in 1935. Nikki Wesley reports.

This week Hockey Cares hosted indigenous youth in Oakville as a part of the fifth annual hockey exchange program, where youth spend a week together learning about each other's cultures and tradition. The annual Mayor's breakfast in Milton provided a stage for the mayor to share his perspective on the CN Intermodal hub and do so on the heels of a recent federal court ruling. Gord Krantz addressed an audience of business leaders, including the Milton Chamber of Commerce. Council and the chamber have been on opposite sides of the debate around the CN Intermodal Hub that's planned for the south end of Milton. Jason Trout has more.
