Milton Mayor Gord Krantz Talks Bail Reform

Georgetown's Safe Haven Event
Intimate partner violence continues to be a significant issue in Halton. Halton Regional Police recently shared statistics that show hundreds of arrests and thousands of charges laid last year. Those were presented at "Safe Haven", an event in Georgetown where survivors and agencies who help women escape from these situations gathered.

Oakville Awarded Funding For Housing Projects
The population of Ontario has doubled since 1971 and is approximately sixteen million people today. Unfortunately housing construction has not kept up with the population growth and as we know we are in the midst of a housing crisis here in the province. This morning Minister of Housing Rob Flack held a press conference to award Oakville funding from the Provinces Building Faster Fund for their efforts to increase the housing supply.
