The future of Halton Hills is being written on sticky notes. But what's at stake is the view from every window in town. Residents are now grappling with how to plan for massive growth, and what they decide will define their community for a generation. Over 400 families are affected by a recent decision pertaining to Burlington's competitive swim team, the Burlington Aquatic Devilrays, otherwise known as BAD. Jessica Kaitting met with the group's volunteer president Kimberly Calderbank to learn more.

The City of Burlington once again will be filling the role of Chief Administrative Officer. Hasaan Bassit has decided to leave his current position. Bassit assumed the position just over a year ago in April of 2024, Jason Agnew asked Mayor Marianne Meed Ward if this change came as a surprise to her.

A local dancer is going international. Seventeen year old Lexi Hewton from Halton Hills has been dancing since she was three years old. This week she's heading to Europe to dance on the world stage. Nikki Wesley spoke with the ballerina before she headed off to Spain.
