Normally we chat with the mayor of Burlington Marianne Meed Ward on Tuesdays here on Halton News however this week the mayor was at Roma: Ontario's rural leaders conference. Afterall... we speak a lot about the "city" aspects of Burlington but people forget how much rural territory Burlington has. with that in mind, Jason Agnew started today's chat asking the mayor what Roma had to offer the city of Burlington.

Gould then pivoted immediately to the general election, where she successfully retained her seat in the house of commons. Earlier today, Jason Agnew sat down with the m-p to look back on a defining 12 months. Jason began by asking how she reflects on the highs and lows of the past year.
