BurlingtonGreenās Native Plant Sale open for online orders
Support a more nature-friendly community by purchasing one or more native plant kits or seeds this year!
While supplies last, kits for sun-loving, shade-loving, rain-loving and monarch gardens are available, as well as four types of native wildflower seed packets prepared by BurlingtonGreen volunteers.
100% of proceeds from sales directly support BurlingtonGreenās Nature-Friendly Burlington programming to empower the community to protect and care for local green space and habitat.

ORDER PICK UP: All purchases are for pick up only (no shipping available). Pickup is Sunday, May 25, 2025 between 10 am and 3:30 pm at the BurlingtonGreen Eco Hub by the beach (1094 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario. L7S 1A7)
If you cannot pick up your order on Sunday, May 25, 2025, you can contact BurlingtonGreen at bg@burlingtongreen.org or 905-975-5563 to arrange pick up of your order on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the BurlingtonGreen Eco Hub by the beach. Any plant material not claimed after Monday, May 26, 2025, cannot be held and will be donated.

The 43rd Annual Strawberry Fair in support of Milton District Hospital will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 8 am to 4 pm. We kick things off with a Strawberry and Pancake Breakfast at 8 am and you can stay all day and enjoy the following:
Strawberry Tent - serving fresh strawberries, ice cream, shortcake and slushies all day
Children's Area - free craft stations (while supplies last), duck pond, sand pile, fire truck, police car, Teddy Bear adoption tent, and PAY TO PLAY Bouncy castles
Live Entertainment Stage - local live entertainment all day from 9 am to 4 pm hosted by Rockin' Rob Hewlett
Vendor Marketplace - be sure to visit all of our vendors offering a variety of items from art, handmade jewelry and crafts, to delicious baked goods and butter tarts.

Celebrate Earth Day at the Tilbury Branch of the Chatham Kent Public Library on Tuesday, April 22 from 1pm to 6pm by making a seed ball with wildflower seeds, soil, and clay. Plant Your seed bomb at home and watch it bloom!

The Annual Rummage Sale is back for 2025 in a new location and will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Main Street in Milton. Donations of gently used items can be dropped off at the church between 10 am and 12 noon on Friday, April 25, 2025. No large furniture or heavy items please. The Quinte Field Naturalists will be holding their Annual Plant Sale on Saturday May 17th from 8 am to noon at St Joseph's Church parking lot (corner of Victoria and Herchimer). We will have a MASTER GARDENER as well as other experienced gardeners in attendance to answer your gardening questions! There is usually a great variety of plants for your garden, from winter hardy cacti, veggies and of course other beautiful perennial and annual flowers, shrubs and trees. ALL PROCEEDS from the plant sale are used to plant native trees, shrubs and flowers in the Quinte Region! Come and see what we have accomplished over the last few years at the Clifford "Sonny" Belch park and at the head of the Shirley Langer Trail!. The Quinte Field Naturalists are Greening Quinte, one tree at a time!
