Come out and sing at St. Andrew's - our next First Friday Hymn Sing is October 3 at 6pm!
We'll be singing favourite hymns, organized by our music director Lois Lafond, with Jeff Searson and Carol Kernahan leading the singing, Wayne Carroll on the organ, and Ken Baldwin with his trumpet.
We had a wonderful turnout and some great singing in September, so do come out and join us on Friday, October 3 from 6 to 7pm at 261 Christina St., N., Sarnia. Enter by our front door on Christina Street, or by our accessible side door off the driveway between the church and the hotel. Give us a call (519-332-2662) for more information.
Rummage sale held on Sept. 26, 27 at Calvin United Church.
Witness Frankie on their journey towards connecting with queer, trans, and disabled lineages through the murkiness of disembodiment. Carolyn, a curious, awe-filled 11-year-old, and Francis, a wise, mysterious figure, comfort Frankie as they navigate a dangerous and dismissive healthcare system. Faced with their mortality, Frankie reflects on the numbness they want to shed and the connectedness they long for. Moving from disconnection towards embodiment and a reignited relationship with the land they’re on, Frankie begins to remember how to be present again, as they start to uncover the threads that tie them to their queer, trans, and disabled ancestors.
