Calling all plant enthusiasts! Are your plants having babies? Don't know what do with the proliferation? Chatham Branch of CKPL in partnership with Chatham Horticultural Society is hosting a Plant Swap. 

The Plant Swap will take place on Saturday, March 15 in the Community Living Café. Plants will be accepted from 10:00 am until 11:00 am and the swap will begin from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Bring plants and/or plant cuttings planted in a container with soil ready for swap. 

Members of the Chatham Horticultural Society will be present at the event to help support swappers with their plant questions and to promote their Society's activities.

Join us March 27 & 28 for our annual radio-a-thon fundraiser to raise much needed funds in support of area children and youth with special needs.

Country 90.5 FM’s morning host Kevin Oschefski will be taking to the airwaves at 5:30 am on March 27th and signing off on March 28th at 10 am.

Donations can be made online anytime at www.rotary4kids.ca, or in person at radio station, 122 Main Street East, on the Thursday, or at the wrap-up on Friday from 7-10 am at the YMCA.

WOMEN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER 2025

Did you know that the Women's World Day of prayer is celebrated in over 120 countries beginning this year in Samoa?  The worship service, prayers and music have been written and provided by our sisters in Christ in the Cook Islands and they have chosen the there taken from Psalm 139 "I Am Wonderfully Made".  Come to Trinity United Church, Friday, March 7th at 2pm for the service followed with themed refreshments served afterward and videos of the Cook Islands shown. This Word Day of Prayer service, music and videos travels throughout the world; through Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas north, central and south before finishing in American Samoa some 38 hours later.  It is literally a worldwide wave of prayer!

RESERVE THIS EVENT: St. Mark's Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, cooked by the men of the parish, will be held on TUESDAY, 4 March 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00PM.  St. Mark’s Parish Hall is located at 268 Main Street in Barriefield/East Kingston, K7K 6W4 (the “Church on the Hill” near CFB Kingston).  

Please bring your family and friends for delicious pancakes and sausages, coffee/tea/juice and dessert.  A free-will offering will be greatly appreciated.  Proceeds will go towards our Tower Restoration Project.
