Meet a Beekeeper – November 19th, 2019 – Athol Town Hall
Bees voted to be the most important living beings on earth! Elis Ziegler, County beekeeper and member of the Quinte Beekeeper’s Association, will talk about the bee life cycle, beekeeping as a hobby, products which come from beekeeping plus sample some honey. All 60+ are welcome, bring your questions, refreshments will be provided. This free presentation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, from 2:00 to 3:00pm at Athol Town Hall located at 1685 County Road 10 in Cherry Valley. Trees, decorations, lights, gift wrapping, baked goods, and more! The Kingston Symphony Warehouse is transformed into a Christmas wonderland, becoming your one stop shop for all things Christmas! We will be accepting donations for this sale on November 4th to 8th, and 12th to 14th, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our warehouse which is located at 785 Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard, Unit 7A.

Community Event - Belleville - Game of Thrones Trivia Night
Winter is coming… and so is the Belleville Public Library’s Game of Thrones Trivia Night! On Thurs. Nov. 28, come with a team of 2-5 people to answer trivia questions from the Game of Thrones television and books series. Win awesome prizes and eat delicious snacks! Doors open at 5:30, trivia will begin at 6:00 sharp, first come, first served. Costumes optional but encouraged. Ages 16+.

Community Event - Belleville - Blood Pressure Clinic
– November 6th – Picton Town Hall
The County Seniors Centre has made arrangements for the Prince Edward Family Health Team to hold a free presentation on the Importance of Blood Pressure on Heart Health followed by a blood pressure clinic on Wednesday, November 6th at the Picton Town Hall located at 2 Ross Street in Picton starting at 12:30pm. High blood pressure is a dangerous condition in adults that is a major risk factor for heart attack and stroke. Blood Pressure Clinics enable you to have your blood pressure checked by a professional nurse. This drop in clinic will start at 1:00 and end at 3:00pm. This talk and clinic will follow the Seniors Lunch & Learn being held at noon; cost for the lunch is $10.00. Call to register for the lunch by noon November 5th. Introduction to the World of Theatre – November 13th, 2019 – North Marysburgh Town Hall
Curious about acting? Enjoy a theatre workshop with Lynn Fennell, founder of the Prince Edward Community Theatre. Born and raised in Picton, Lynn has performed in musical and dramatic theatre throughout the area since the late 1980’s. He will provide a brief history of local theatre in the County followed by an interactive script reading. This informative presentation will interest theatre lovers, prospective volunteers and actors and will start at 1:30pm for about an hour at North Marysburgh Town Hall (Prince Edward County Road 8) in Waupoos. The Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) is holding a free Hearing Help Clinic in partnership with Prince Edward Community Care. There will be a clinic at Bloomfield Town Hall located at 289 Main Street, Bloomfield on Thursday, November 28th. This is your chance to have a Hearing Care Counsellor provide a hearing screening, answer your questions about hearing loss, give information about hearing health care, provide communication strategies for hearing loss, provide tips for hearing aid maintenance and demonstrate technical devices.
