Community Event - Quinte - McDonald's Coffee Day for Alzheimer's: Sept 18
On Thursday, September 18, 2025 – make your coffee count! September is World Alzheimer Month. Local McDonald’s in Belleville, Quinte West, Picton and Madoc will be donating 50 cents from all medium, large, and extra-large hot coffees sold on Thursday, September 18th to the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward (ASHPE). In addition, staff, volunteers, and community supporters will once again be in the drive-thru collecting cash and tap donations. As always, all funds raised will stay LOCAL and help us support the estimated 5000+ people living with dementia in our region. Volunteers (individuals and organizations) needed! For more information contact Trisha Clancy at 6139620892 / trisha.clancy@alzheimerhpe.ca . www.alzheimer.ca/hpe
Community Event - Quinte - Hospice Quinte's Casino Royale
Join us for a fun night out at the casino! Hospice Quinte is holding its second casino night event to raise funds to help support our mission. With the purchase of a ticket, attendees to this red-carpet event will receive chips to play several casino style games including roulette, blackjack, and poker. Players will be able to “cash in” their chips for a chance to win major prizes! There will also be many other features including hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a DJ with a dance floor, a VIP Lounge, photo booth, and much more!
Please note that the chips used in the games have no monetary value and players will not actually be gambling with real money. Should players run out of chips, they can receive more with a donation.
The Casino Royale event is Hospice Quinte’s premier fundraising event, aiming to provide a fun evening with friends with a light party atmosphere. Everyone who takes part helps Hospice Quinte continue to provide quality end-of-life care to anyone who needs it in the Quinte region, free of charge.
