Due to an overwhelming response, CMHA HKPR will be conducting a second Mental Health First Aid course on May 10/11, 2018 at the HKPR District Health Unit located at 108 Angeline St. S. in Lindsay. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Just as physical first aid is administered to an injured person before medical treatment can be obtained, MHFA is given until appropriate treatment is found or until the crisis is resolved. The course fee will be just $150. The training will begin promptly at 8:30 AM and will end at 4:30 PM each day. Please see the attached poster and registration form for more details. Space is limited. Only the first 25 respondents will receive space in this training.

The E.C. Row Expressway westbound between Dominion Boulevard and Huron Church Road will see lane reductions as a result of storm sewer and culvert relining rehabilitation on Monday, January 22 to Friday, January 26 – 8am to 4pm (weather permitting).
