The St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation (SCRCF) is seeking volunteers to assist in Charitable Gaming via Bingo Games at Riverview!

We are looking for volunteers who are:
-18+
-Live in or near Chatham (willing to commute for this)
-Trained or willing to complete training from CGCK
-Able to commit to two to three 2-hour sessions per month
-Willing to abide by the Riverview Gaming Compliance Policy and Code of Conduct

Your participation leads to the St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation receiving a portion of the proceeds supporting local environmental initiatives. These initiatives include outdoor environmental education programming, the monitoring and safeguarding of vital species at risk in our watershed, and more!

Bingo sessions are to be attended by two volunteers, so if you know a friend or family member who may also be interested, sign up together!

Community Event - Quinte - 54th Quinte Rotary Music Festival Concert of Stars

The 54th annual Quinte Rotary Music Festival was held April 8-12.  This partnership between the Rotary Clubs of Belleville, Trenton, and Quinte Sunrise provides the opportunity to showcase the musical talents of youth in our community.  The passion, dedication and commitment of the musicians was clearly evident in their performances.  It was testimony to the importance of music in their lives.

The "Concert of Stars" highlighting some of the best performances of the Festival competition will be held Wednesday May 1 at Marantha Church, 100 College St. W. in Belleville.

We look forward to seeing you Wednesday May 1 to celebrate the wonderful student musicians of the Quinte Rotary Music Festival!

Orchestra Kingston presents: "Showcasing Our Own" - A Musical Extravaganza at The Spire, on February 25, 2024 at 2:30 pm. As the winter season unfolds, Orchestra Kingston is thrilled to invite audiences to the third concert of their 15th season. 

 

This unique event will be a celebration of local talent, showcasing the orchestra's own members, and highlighting the extraordinary skills and artistry within our community. Selections include Franz Josef Strauss’s Horn Concerto op. 8 in C minor, with soloist Cory van Allen; Vaughan-Williams’ English Folk Song Suite; Orchestra Kingston President Daniel McConnachie’s original orchestral composition Righle; and music by Bizet, Sibelius, and Warlock. In celebration of Orchestra Kingston’s 15 years as Kingston’s community orchestra, join us for an afternoon celebrating our own musicians!

 

Tickets are available online at orchestrakingston.ca, in-person at Arden’s Music and Novel Idea, or at the door. Adults $25, Senior & Student $20, 16 & under free.
