Friday, April 12, 2024 from 1 to 4pm  Club Action 50+ members are celebrating the completed renovation of the kitchen at the Corbeil Park Hall.

Drop in and join us for a treat prepared in our new kitchen.

There will be music and photos of our members throughout the years. 

Come see the work achieved by the dollars provided by the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Ontario in updating our facility which will allow us to better serve our older adults in East Ferris and surrounding area.

Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - An Evening at The Brant Inn - June 22

Step back in time to the golden era of the Brant Inn! Join us at the Marquis Gardens at the Waterfront Hotel on June 22, 2024 from 6pm to 11pm for “An Evening at the Brant Inn.” Enjoy an evening of dining, dancing, drinks, and swing music as we celebrate Burlington’s iconic entertainment venue of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s.

The night will include hors d’oeuvres, a 3-course dinner, dance lessons and demonstrations from danceScape, and live music from Smooth Blend Jazz Quartet. This event is a fundraiser for the Museums of Burlington, raising funds for the preservation of our collections and continued development of educational programming.

Tickets are $125/person ($120/members) and include passed hors d’oeuvres, 3-course dinner, 1 drink ticket, dance lessons, and live musical entertainment. Cash bar available. Charitable donation receipt available upon request.

A 55-Alive safe driving course is offered by Prince Edward Community Care for Seniors.  This in-person course will be held at the office, 74A King Street, Picton from 9:30am to 3:30pm.  The Canada Safety Council developed this mature driver retraining program which is designed specifically to help older drivers improve their driving skills. Seniors 60+ are invited to get active, make friends, be well!  Prince Edward Community Care offers over 50 online events each month for seniors 60+. Online Zoom fitness and arts classes along with socials are held Monday to Friday. In April, the Zoom webinar topics include “Come Fly with Me” with Terry Sprague; “Virtual Bingo” with Community Care Staff; and “Water Safety” with Constable Aaron Miller, Community Safety Officer with the Prince Edward County OPP.
