You're invited to the 2024 Mayor's Masters Tournament, a charity golf tournament organized on behalf of Mayor Jordan and the Town of Grimsby!

All net proceeds from this event will support the Town's Community Services Department and United Way Niagara.

Agenda

A foursome registration includes a scramble golf tournament, golf cart, lunch, dinner, and a player gift.

11:00 am: Registration Opens & Boxed Lunch
12:30 pm: Start of the Golf Tournament (shotgun start)
6:00 pm: 3-Course Dinner

A 50/50 draw will also be offered during the event (Lottery #M818450).

Corporate Foursome: $1,000

  • Includes four (4) golf positions, a cart, lunch, dinner, and a player gift, and
  • Includes the closest-to-the-pin and longest drive competitions.

Country Legends Tribute Show performed by Gordon Cormier, a well known performer from Newfoundland, currenty touring across Canada. See tributes to all the great country stars! 

The Rotary Club of Bracebridge Muskoka is sponsoring the show, with all proceeds to Hospice Muskoka - Andy's House.

Event includes Cash Bar, 50/50 draws with tickets at $50.00.

Community Event - Brockville/Prescott - Paddle Poker Run (Front of Yonge)

Get your paddles ready for a fun event on the beautiful waters of the St. Lawrence River! The Township of Front of Yonge is hosting the fourth annual Paddle Poker Run on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at Brown’s Bay. 

The Paddle Poker Run is an event that encourages people to get outside to celebrate and enjoy the St. Lawrence River. All river-appropriate paddle craft are welcome (kayak, canoe, etc.) This is not a race, but a fun paddle that all ages and abilities can enjoy. Each paddler will follow a route beginning at Brown’s Bay that includes at least five stops or checkpoints where they will draw a playing card. After the paddle, there will be prizes for the best poker hand. There will be routes set up for beginners and experienced paddlers ranging from 5km to 10km. New this year, open river swimmers are welcome to participate, and an optional kayaking safety demonstration will be offered on the morning of the event.
