Join us for a dynamic event dedicated to advancing equity, accessibility, and universal design in schools, workplaces, and communities. The 2nd Annual Beyond The Label Conference on May 24th, 2025 will focus on reimagining environments so that all minds can thrive. Exploring neurodiversity, looking beyond IEPs, and discovering neuroaffirming practices are just some of the topics to be delivered. Additionally planned are a game, a practical VR (virtual reality) experience, and a highly interactive panel discussion where we have honest conversations on embedding neurodiverse needs into policy, education, and community design. When we build with neurodiversity in mind, we create better systems for everyone. Whether you’re an educator, employer, parent, community leader, or someone with lived experience—this event is for you. Join the Lyra Ensemble in our spring tour of the valley.
We are a seven-member acapella ensemble under the direction of Emily Adam, and we have been preparing an epic repertoire all winter including folk songs from; Corsica, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Georgia as well as songs from and inspired by the Sacred Harp Tradition.
The ensemble's repertoire celebrates the beauty and complexity of the human voice. Come to hear strident, haunting, boisterous and bold harmonies!
