Community Event - North Bay - Free Information Session-How to Help the Homeless
“What you need to know about helping people
who are experiencing homelessness.”
The Compassionate Committee for the Homeless in North Bay has partnered with Trinity United Church to offer our third annual information session entitled “What you need to know about helping people who are experiencing homelessness.” Frontline organizations who will be attending include:
Tracy Clement – Tracy’s Heart and Hands
- Trever Leblond – Cold Weather Response Program, Crisis Centre of North Bay
Stuart and Brooke – Outreach Peer Worker, True Self – Debwewendizwin
Please join us on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Trinity United Church, 111 McIntyre Street East, in the Sanctuary, doors open at 6:30 p.m. You will learn from frontline organizations how they support people experiencing homelessness in North Bay, what they observe, and an opportunity to ask questions.
Those attending the information session are encouraged to donate hats, mitts, warm socks, scarves, or monetary donations for the purchase of boots and shoes in support of the Winter Boot Campaign which will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption garages across from 480 McIntyre Street West.
