The Royal Canadian Horse Artillery (RCHA) Brigade Association hosts a special ceremony on Remembrance Day at the RCHA Memorial on Monday November 11. The RCHA Memorial is in City Park, on the corner of Barrie & King Streets. The service will commence at 10:45 a.m. conducted by Colonel Tim Young (retired). It will be supported by the Second Regiment RCHA from Petawawa, who will provide a gun detachment to fire one round at the beginning and another at the end of the 2 minutes silence. They will also guard the memorial with a vigil during the service. Memorial wreaths will be placed with the assistance of Gunner Officer Cadets from the Royal Military College. Prayers will be offered for the fallen and serving military by Padre Seaton Brachmayer from 2 RCHA.  Soloist Michael K. Myers will sing the national and royal anthems.  Trumpeter Janet McCrae and a piper from the Princess of Wales' Own Regiment will play the Last Post, a Lament and the Rouse in conjunction with the 2 minutes silence. Students from Sydenham School will be taking part in the ceremony, presenting the commitment to remember.  All are welcome at a reception at the RCHA 193 Ontario St following the service.
