Heartache2Hope's Second Annual Walk2Remember

BRINGING OUR COMMUNITY TOGETHER FOR CONNECTION AND REMEMBRANCE!


Join us on Saturday, June 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Oakville’s Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park for Heartache2Hope's 5k Walk2Remember. This year's Walk2Remember provides the important opportunities to build community, commemorate out loved ones lost to suicide, raise awareness and fundraise for Heartache2Hope. We encourage you to invite your friends and family to walk with you! 

All proceeds will help fund our suicide loss support services, including our Closed and Open Support Groups, Individual Grief Counselling and Peer Support Programs, Specialized Trauma Therapy, HopeLine, Wellness Activities, and services for children and youth, which are all offered free of charge to the community!

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Aquatics, the Lifeguard-Instructor provides supervision, leadership and instruction to all individuals accessing aquatic services at Pathways.

In the day-to-day operations of the pool, the Lifeguard is expected to maintain their regular guarding / instructing duties as per the aquatic schedule in compliance with National Lifesaving Society

The Lifeguard/ Swim Instructor is accountable for the safety of the individuals accessing aquatic programs and is responsible for maintaining compliance with National Lifesaving Society standards, Centre policies, procedures and pool regulations.

Milton child musical prodigy Johann Derecho will play the piano at a concert in his honour at St. Paul's United Church on Sunday June 11, 2023, at 3 p.m. Johann will be assisted by double bassist Troy Morris. Both musicians are currently students at the Glenn Gould School of Music in Toronto. There is no set admission fee but the event is a free will concert. The Uncle Louie Variety Show performs live comedy shows in different cities in the US, as well as in Canada and Australia.

The Uncle Louie Variety Show is composed of two hilarious Italian-American comedians, Carlo Russo and Lou Greco. For many years, they have been making people laugh through their unique brand of comedy that brings memories on how it was like to grow up as an Italian.
Their live shows always exceed the audience’s expectations. They do different acts as the lovable Uncle Louie and Pasqualino characters. The duo also performs original music and stand-up comedy.
Listen to the amusing stories and humorous jokes of these comedians! They will surely make you smile, laugh out loud, and even cry out tears of joy.
