Are you or someone you care about transitioning from high school to the community? Or simply seeking a meaningful, accessible and creative program? Maybe you just want to know more about H'art Centre. Here’s your chance to go behind the scenes!

H’art Centre is an award-winning, registered not-for-profit, charitable community arts hub that provides artists with disabilities and those facing barriers with opportunities to create, study and produce works in the arts and collaborate with qualified, trained community artists.

For 25 years, our H’art Studio program has offered adults with ID/DD the opportunity to explore their highest potential through the arts and indirect learning. Build important skills while engaged in the practice and enjoyment of visual arts, music, theatre, dance, media arts, and literary arts.

Join us on Sunday, May 7th from 1-3 pm to:

Bonus! We plan to screen our short dance film, “Water”. H’art Studio performers star in this 2022 piece that reflects on the purpose of freshwater, facilitated by choreographer Camille Spencer.

Peterborough Historical Society public round table discussion. Challenges facing urban development are much in the news. The Ontario Heritage Trust recognizes "many ways that heritage conservation supports urban regeneration," especially "through the adaptive reuse of heritage properties for new purposes while retaining their heritage attributes.Panelists Deborah Keay, Engineer with D. M. Mills Associates and Roy Turner, Architect with Lett Architects, will discuss this issue with moderator Dennis Carter-Edwards, retired Cultural Resource Manager with the Trent-Severn Waterway.
