The 54th annual Quinte Rotary Music Festival returns April 8-12! A partnership between the Rotary Clubs of Belleville, Trenton, and Quinte Sunrise creates the opportunity to showcase the musical talents of youth in our community. Orchestra Kingston presents: "Showcasing Our Own" - A Musical Extravaganza at The Spire, on February 25, 2024 at 2:30 pm. As the winter season unfolds, Orchestra Kingston is thrilled to invite audiences to the third concert of their 15th season.
This unique event will be a celebration of local talent, showcasing the orchestra's own members, and highlighting the extraordinary skills and artistry within our community. Selections include Franz Josef Strauss’s Horn Concerto op. 8 in C minor, with soloist Cory van Allen; Vaughan-Williams’ English Folk Song Suite; Orchestra Kingston President Daniel McConnachie’s original orchestral composition Righle; and music by Bizet, Sibelius, and Warlock. In celebration of Orchestra Kingston’s 15 years as Kingston’s community orchestra, join us for an afternoon celebrating our own musicians!
