Men, women, and children of all ages are invited to join the 2023 World Day of Prayer as we celebrate the theme "I have heard about your faith" based on Ephesians 1:15 - 19. The women of Taiwan have prepared the service this year. 

World Day of Prayer is an international, inter-church event that began about 100 years ago and is held in over 170 countries. 

The churches of Grimsby invite you to join them at Lakemount Worship Centre on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 2:00 for the local service, followed by refreshments.

Milk Bottles of Halton will be the subject of a presentation by Paul Huntley when Milton Historical Society hosts its Monthly Speaker Series on Thursday February 18, 2023. Mr. Huntley's presentation takes place at 7:30 p.m. at the Waldie Blacksmith Shop, 16 James Street in beautiful and historic downtown Milton. Attendance is free and all are welcome.

The Town of Milton Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday February 18, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Town Hall, 150 Mary Street in downtown Milton. Six individuals will join 70 Miltonians who are already enshrined in the Walk of Fame. The new inductees include international lumber merchant Henry Cargill, international recording artists Nick Greaves, Adrian Jewett and Ryan Lenssen, international computer scientist Brian Kernighan and national sheep breeder and agricultural industry executive Joseph Willmott.

Bonnie Moore, owner of Woodland North 62 Lavender Farm, will be telling us about growing and using lavender in all its wonderfully aromatic states. Everyone is welcome.
