In this talk Ryan will share insights on what vermicomposting is, how to start, and the substantial environmental and gardening benefits it offers. Ryan Vieira is a dedicated worm farmer based in Trent Lakes, just outside of Peterborough, Ontario. His journey into the world of composting and natural fertilizers began in 2019 when he started his red wiggler farm. Driven by a desire to manage waste sustainably and enhance soil health, Ryan has since become an advocate for vermicomposting.

Please note: There will be a special information session before our meeting from 6:15 to 6:45 pm for anyone interested in learning about Horticultural Societies in general. All are welcome to attend.
