Community Event - Niagara - Travel Inspirations feature works of Rick Vyrostko

'Travel Inspirations' runs from Nov. 1-27 at the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre, featuring the photography of Rick Vyrostko. The must-see exhibit offers a glimpse into some of the photographer's favourite spots. The collection features some of the images of unique global locations from his travels to more than 46 countries. The pieces in the exhibit were selected by the artist to show why a "journey to these places is worth taking."

All are welcome to the opening reception on Sunday, Nov. 6th at 2:00 pm. The artist will be in attendance with remarks at approximately 2:30 PM. Refreshments will be served.

Fundraising Silent Auction to ensure seniors and adults with disabilities have the necessary in-home support services they require to remain happy in their homes.

Services such as Meals on Wheels, transportation to appointments, housekeeping, wellness checks, grocery delivery, safety devices and in-home evaluations to ensure the client does not fall in their home.

Silent auction will take place in the hallway of the Seaway Mall near customer service from Oct 31 to Nov 5th

Those in need of assistance this Christmas can access help with food and toys through The Salvation Army Community & Family Services here in Peterborough.

Call 705-742-4391 on or after November 1st to book a registration appointment. These appointments will run from November 14th to December 16th, and both food and toy assistance will be issued at the allotted appointment time.

The information required for the registration appointment includes the following: 1. Identification for each family member; 2. Proof of current address; and 3. Verification of income (pay stub, OW/ODSP stub) for everyone in the family.
