Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - Antique Appraisal Event
We’re hosting an Antique Appraisal Event at Ireland House Museum on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Treasure Antiques will be onsite to appraise your items at a cost of $10/item. There is a maximum of 2 items per time slot. If you would like to bring more than 2 items, please book an additional time slot. Please note that military items and books will not be appraised. Admission for a guided tour of Ireland House can be purchased at the Museum at 50% off if you have prepaid for an item appraisal. Email museuminfo@burlington.ca with any questions.

Learn all about Libby, the library reading app by Overdrive. Enjoy eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines and more with your Belleville Public Library card. We will show you everything you need to know to get started with Libby.
This workshop will cover downloading the app & signing in, searching & borrowing titles, placing holds, adjusting reading settings, and more.
If you don't have the Libby app downloaded on your device already, you can download the Libby app on most iOS and Android devices. Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play store and search for Libby. You can also use Libby in your web browser by going to libbyapp.com.

Community Event - Quinte - SATURDAY NIGHT ROCKS!
What a sweet deal - 2 hours of curling, pizza and a drink for only $20. Bring your clean running shoes and volunteers will be on hand to introduce you to the sport of curling. Members - bring a friend. Non-members, come and find out what the fun is all about! Curling is guaranteed to make your winter fly by. Register at 613-962-5570, so we have enough pizza on hand!
