SYNERGY 150 presents “Somewhere in “OUR” Memories” as they return to the stage for two performances.

This 58-voice community choir looks forward to having you join them to enjoy hearing and singing many of your favourite songs from your younger years, and ours!  As always, the concert includes a slideshow and stories about the songs you will hear, including “Love Me Tender”, The Sound of Silence”,  “The Impossible Dream”, plus many more. Join them for a pleasant trip down Musical Memory Lane!

Friday October 27 at 7 PM and Saturday October 28 at 2 PM

Adults: $20  Students: $10  Under 12 free.

The month of October would not be complete without the Halloween tradition. Look out for young ghostly ghouls and goblins on Saturday, October 28th from 12pm - 4 p.m. when Hutchison House Museum will host Halloween tours of the museum. Enjoy a spooky tour of the museum, make a fun craft, have your fortune told, enjoy and special treat and more! Admission for the Haunted Halloween spooktacular event is $8 per person children under 5 is free. Costumes are encouraged and an adult must accompany young children. While we do make the upper levels of the house a little spooky, it is not our intention to scare anyone. For more information contact the museum at 705-743-9710.

Join us in celebrating the release of Laura Elliott’s new book The Ghost of Catharine Parr Traill at Hutchison House Museum Sunday October 22, 2023 from 1-3pm.  Listen to excerpts of Laura’s journey of discovery into the life and lessons of wellbeing from this nineteenth century pioneer, author and botanist, by the fire in the historic Keeping Room. Copies of the book will be available for sale by the author and bookshop. Light refreshments will be available.
