After a summer of research, visiting cemeteries and villages where our ancestors lived, or just relaxing, it's time to get back to "family history". Learn how to use Google Maps to track your family as they moved across town or around the world!

Well-known Canadian genealogist Lianne Kruger will take us through finding locations from letters and documents, using addresses and clicking on a map! We'll explore Google Maps using its many tools to help us navigate latitudes and longitudes, use views from satellites to discover the properties owned by our ancestors, and create our own maps!

Save the date for our 32nd annual Peter Saracino Alzheimer Golf Classic on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, at the beautiful Legends on the Niagara!

Support the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region as we continue to advocate for those living with dementia, their friends, family, and care partners.

There is a $250 registration fee per golfer. Registration for Sponsors and Golfers closes September 1st.

Sign-in opens at 11:00 am, and the Shot Gun Start begins at 1:00 pm.

On World Alzheimer's Day - Thursday September 21st 2023 - 50 cents from every M, L and XL coffee sold at the McDonald's in Belleville, Quinte West, Picton and Madoc will be donated to the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward. Volunteers needed! Call 613-962-0892 for more information. ASHPE is less than 40% funded and ALL funds raised stay LOCAL! www.alzheimer.ca/hpe
