Niagara resident, 17 year old Kalam Elgersma, has been accepted to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Being one of the top music schools in the world, some of it’s famous alumni include Quincy Jones, Steve Vai, John Mayer, Diana Krall and Steven Tyler. Kalam will be presenting a concert, Boston Bound: Kalam Elgersma on Friday, August 12, 2022 with friends. Among those featured will be Thomas Nelson and Brad Krauss of the Thomas Nelson Band and Laura Thomas of the Niagara Symphony Orchestra. The event will run from 6-9:30pm at Conversations Cafe, 4995 King St. in Beamsville. This is a pay what you can event in support of Kalam Elgersma.
