Lemonade Stand Day - Saturday August 23rd, 2025. Peterborough and Area. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. On Saturday August 23rd Peterborough Area Kids will be setting up Lemonade Stands everywhere. Lemonaders will be providedwith lemonade ingredients, cups and signage to set up their Lemonade Stands. Inreurn Leonaders will provide the proceeds to support  Canada's only Free Accredited Zoo, with the largest children's play area in the County, their own Peterborough Riverview Park and Zoo.  As well, the Kiwanis Club of Scott's Plains, in Celebration of its Fifty (50) Years supporting programs which support idsin our community will benefit. Kids Need Kiwanis!

 Enjoy a delicious home cooked meal by the hearth fire in the Historic Keeping Room. Sittings at 12 and 1:30. Reservations required and $25 per person. Meals vary per month and include coffee, tea or water, plus refills, entree and dessert.

Gina Lori Riley Dance Enterprises Presents A Night Of Movement, Fantasy and Memory
 

WINDSOR, ON – Gina Lori Riley Dance Enterprises is proud to announce the Local Short Film Showcase, an evening celebrating the transformative power of film, dance theatre, movement, and storytelling. The event will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

This special showcase will feature screenings of Gina Lori Riley’s award-winning films, including:

12x Award-Winning “I AM HERE” (2024), “One Of Those Nights” (1979), and 2x Award-Winning “Commedia Fantasia” (2000). 

There will be over 46 years worth of stunning costumes, on-screen media presentations, live entertainment and a talk-back Q&A session after the films are showcased. 

Gina Lori Riley, an internationally recognized Artistic/Creative Director and Founder of Gina Lori Riley Dance Enterprises, brings over four decades of expertise in dance, movement, and film to this unique event. This will be the first and last time these films will be shown and tickets are selling out fast.
