Remembering "Big Kentucky"
Michael Thier was larger than life - a peacekeeping veteran, Thier excelled at bodybuilding following his Canadian Armed Forces Career. He then competed at the 2018 Invictus Games in Australia, where he met North Bay's Dave Innes. Sadly Thier passed away late last month at just 50 years of age. Clarke Heipel has the story as part of his Friday Civilian Salute.
