The Art of Seeing at Gallery in the Grove

12:00 AM — 11:59 PM

Adelle Taylor and Joan Bennet Ross open the 2025 exhibition season at Gallery in the Grove with their exhibition, The Art of Seeing. A reception on Feb 1st from 11am-2pm opens the exhibit.

Adelle completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at OCAD University and has featured her creations in numerous galleries and exhibitions, including The Toronto Artist Project. Her art explores the emotional power of colour as a universal language and the profound connections between nature and the human condition.

Joan has practiced surgery in Sarnia for 30 years. Her skill and love of pencil drawing actually forced her to choose between entering an illustration program or applying to medical school. The influence of nature and plein air work is evident in Joan's paintings. She is always near water - living on Lake Huron - and as a regular summer vacation loves Killarney Provincial Park.

The Art of Seeing runs from Feb 1- March 8, 2025. Gallery hours are Mon-Thurs. 2pm-5pm, Fri. & Sat. 11am-2pm. For more information visit www.galleryinthegrove.com or call 519-869-4643.
