We tackle regional issues in depth with shows like Kawartha Lakes Conversations and Knowing Your CPD Peterborough, and keep you entertained with conversational series like #OnTheCouch and The Tiffany Show.

yourTV is unique because it is powered by people like you. We are always looking for enthusiastic, creative, and dependable individuals to join our team. Whether you want to build a career in broadcasting or simply give back to the Kawarthas, we have a place for you.
1. Become a Volunteer TV Production Crew Member
No prior experience in television? No problem! We provide comprehensive, hands-on training using professional, industry-standard equipment. Our volunteers contribute 2–4 hours a week over flexible schedules and gain invaluable media experience.
Opportunities include:
- Studio TV Production: Learn to operate studio cameras, manage the audio board, direct, or work as a technical director in our control room.
- Mobile Production & Live Sports: Hit the road with our Mobile Production Unit to cover live events like OHL hockey games, Peterborough Lakers lacrosse, and community parades.
- Behind the Scenes: Assist with pre-production planning, conduct on-camera interviews, or help update the YourTV billboard and website in an administrative capacity.
2. Participate and Share Your Story
Do you have a story that needs to be told, an upcoming community event to promote, or a unique perspective on local issues?
- Submit to the yourTV Multizone: Let us help you promote your non-profit events, local fundraisers, and community messages.
