The Quinte Region Drowning Prevention Coalition would like to share that it is National Lifejacket Day. Drowning Coalition members have shared some important messages regarding lifejackets. StaffSergeant, John Hatch, Detachment Commander of the Prince Edward OPP Detachment reminds you to remember to check your lifejacket or PFD to ensure it is in proper working order and make sure you wear it, it could save your life!” Another Coalition member, Bill Roberts, Municipal Councillor in Prince Edward County, shared, “do your part to ensure a safe boating and swimming season!”
