2024 Marketplace and Estate Sale of Antiques and Collectibles

Marketplace is a new and exciting fundraiser for everyone to find irresistible items - held by the Joseph Brant Hospital Auxiliary to raise money for the purchase of medical equipment for the hospital.  For anyone looking for treasured antiques, rare vintage items, unique collectibles or contemporary décor and household items - we have it all!  Items include china, crystal, silver, flatware, art, jewelry, linens, glassware, toys, figurines, special collectibles, furniture and more.

Sales are on a first-come, first-served basis and all sales are final.  There is no HST or buyer’s premium added to the price.  We accept cash and credit or debit cards.  Please be prepared to carry out your purchases.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It is a great way to get exercise, improve hand-eye coordination, and socialize with others. Studies have shown that pickleball can be beneficial for people with Parkinson's disease, helping to improve balance, coordination, and overall well-being.

Saturday's starting May 4th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Tansley Woods Comunity Centre, 1996 Itabashi Way, Burlington - This program is   FREE for those living with Parkinson's

Gather your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to walk or run our scenic 1K or 5K route in support of grieving children and youth in our communities.

Join us and together we can continue to spread love and positivity in their lives. Together we can make a real impact and brighten their days. Let's shine a light on children's grief and show them that they are not alone.

Every dollar raised will go directly to fund our grief support groups to ensure our services remain FREE for families who need them.

This annual event takes place on Saturday May 25, 2024 at St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre in Oakville. Can't make it? No problem...you can also register to participate virtually at the location of your choice or donate to support this worthy cause.

Community Living Oakville is a non-profit charitable organization that provides support to over 300 people in our community with developmental disabilities and employs 300 staff, all of whom are dedicated to ensuring that everyone can enjoy their right to lead active and productive lives in our community.

In effort to bring awareness and education to the community about people with developmental disabilities and their involvement within Oakville, we invite you to join us during the month of May - Community Living Month - to celebrate diversity and inclusion together. By building community partnerships, we have witnessed increased community awareness and inclusion – contributing to an inclusive community.

Join us on at Food Truck Friday taking place on May 31st in Oakville Towne Square! We would love the opportunity for you to get to know our agency, programs and services, meet people the people we support at Community Living Oakville, along with our staff and families.

Tickets are required. General Admission is free and provides entry to the event - food tickets can be purchased onsite.

Last year, Community Living Oakville held our 1st Annual Food Truck Friday event in partnership with Sheridan College at their Oakville campus as a way to bring people we support together for the first time since the Covid-19 closures.

After a successful first year, we are incredibly excited to hold our event this May in the heart of Oakville Towne Square where we can strengthen our partnerships with community facilities and local businesses.
