Hippity hop on down to Joseph Brant Museum for a Visit with the Easter Bunny! Families can book a 5-minute private visit with the Easter Bunny and have their photo taken by Henry’s Camera (6 family members maximum). Henry’s will be providing each family with one digital image and a “Free Instant 8×10 Print” voucher for use at an in-store kiosk. Parents are also welcome to use their own cameras. Children will have the opportunity to take part in an Easter egg scavenger hunt throughout the galleries and complete a Spring-themed craft. There will also be a mini-Makers market on site, and some hot chocolate to enjoy!

Tickets are $50/family ($45/members) and include a pre-booked visit and photos with the Easter Bunny, admission to Joseph Brant Museum, an Easter egg scavenger hunt throughout the galleries, hot chocolate, a craft for each child registered, and access to a mini-Makers Market. Description: A small fishing village must procure a local doctor to secure a lucrative business contract. When unlikely candidate and big city doctor Paul Lewis lands in their lap for a trial residence, the townsfolk rally together to charm him into staying. As the doctor’s time in the village winds to a close, acting mayor Murray French has no choice but to pull out all the stops and begin The Grand Seduction. This screening is FREE as part of National Canadian Film Day (#CanFilmDay)! Actor Liane Balaban will attend for the live Q&A, and we will feature a pre-taped introduction from Director Don McKellar. The evening will feature keynote presentation from Dr. Rosemary Sadlier, renowned diversity, inclusion, and equity consultant, social justice advocate, researcher, writer and international speaker. Entertainment will include June Award Winning Jazz pianist, composer, arranger and producer, Eddie Bullen, and the always popular CCAH Steel Band. Capping off the evening will be a fun night of dancing featuring DJ Glen Als. Enjoy a 4 course dinner featuring delicious and eclectic Caribbean dishes. Award ceremony recognizing outstanding community service. Raffle, dancing, and more!

Join us for a night of galivanting this May the CCAH Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton will be hosting our annual May Soirée which is a celebration of Caribbean culture, history and music in the Halton region. Our gala will be featuring keynote speaker Dr. Rosemary Sadler, and musical performances by Juno Award Winning jazz pianist, composer, arranger and producer Eddie Bullen and DJ Glen Als. Proceeds supported CCAH’s children and youth programs.

Celebrate Mother’s Day in a unique and delicious way with our Mom’s Night Out: Tea and Cookies tasting workshop at Joseph Brant Museum. At this event, guests can indulge in a delightful tasting experience featuring a selection of premium teas paired with gourmet cookies. Katie Cyr of Monarch Tea Co. will lead a 1-hour interactive workshop pairing tea blends with decadent cookies from Craig’s Cookies Burlington.*

Tickets are $55/person ($50/members) and include a 1-hour workshop with 3 tea and cookie pairings, a signature tea cocktail, and admission to the Museum galleries. This is a 19+ event. Doors open at 6pm, and the workshop begins at 7pm. Guests can view the Museum galleries before or after the workshop.
