MP Kristina Tesser-Derksen Discusses Bail Reform Changes
Bill c-14, the bail and sentencing reform act, received royal assent on june 15. the sweeping legislation introduces over 80 targeted changes to the criminal code, the youth criminal justice act, and the national defence act aimed at making bail stricter and toughening penalties. One of the major changes is going to be the "reverse onus" rules. Acton Community Garden Renovations
Renovations have been made to the community garden in Acton, upgrading the garden shed, adding a new fence and even some raised garden beds. All to help provide the community members with fresh vegetables as well as teach them how to grow it themselves.
