Carousel Players - 50th Anniversary Display
Two new displays at the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre honour Carousel Players and 50 Years of Theatre You Never Outgrow. Artistic Director Monica Dufault discusses the exhibits and talks about the 50th Anniversary Festival taking place throughout Niagara this Easter Weekend.
Welcome Home Kits
Welcome Home Kits provide basic household supplies to individuals and families transitioning from shelters to permanent housing. These kits enable recipients to start their new lives with the materials required to cook and serve meals and to attend to personal hygiene. United Way Niagara works with individuals, groups, organizations, and partners to provide new household kitchen and bathroom items, to assemble into useful kits, and distribute to local agencies to provide to their clients. Since the program was established in 2012, over 3,700 kits have been distributed across Niagara to individuals and families in need.

Port Cares Drive-Thru Soupfest
Port Cares hosted another successful Drive-Thru Soupfest event to raise funds and awareness for their Reach Out Centre. Three delicious soups were cooked in-house by Chef Aldo Ramirez and dozens of staff and volunteers delivered the meals to the participants' vehicles. Brenda Schultz files this report.

Green Shirt Day
Toby and Bernie Boulet joined The Source in advance of Green Shirt Day. Their son Logan was one of the victims in the Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy. The donation of Logan's organs created a nationwide movement that's become known as the Logan Boulet Effect.
Welland & District Humane Society Cat Adoption Centre 10 Year Anniversary
The Source's Angie Mendoza got to celebrate with our friends at The Welland & District Humane Society Cat Adoption Centre in The Seaway Mall, on their 10th anniversary! Thanks to countless volunteer hours, they've seen 7200 cats find new forever homes. Are you looking for a feline forever friend?
